After 3 months of careful deliberation, the fantastic Peach and her team of editors (Ariel, Desperate Sarah, Ms Robinson , and Vi) have selected the pieces they liked enough to be in a book about blogging, the proceeds from which will go to help Warchild do the good things they do!
I'm absolutely elated (after a shitty few weeks) to say that one of my pieces was selected to be in the book. I'm about to say (type?) something not very grown up.
SQUEEE!!!!!
I'm really excited and proud and all of that!
Please go on over to Peach's blog to have a look at the full list of contributors and for some more information on the book.
And if you only do one thing this month...buy a copy - its for a fantastic cause and you definitely won't be disappointed by the entries. I've only skim-read the list of participants (because I'm still being happy and excited for me!) but some of the ones I noticed are utterly fabulous (Peach herself, Clarissa and OE are blogs I read regularly).
Well done to everyone who contributed (they had about 400 entries) and also a major huge enormous well done to Peach and the ladies who put it all together, you've done a geat job over the last 3 months and the hard graft is all worth it I'm sure!

Congrats. that sound like a cool project. I'll check it out.

Travis Erwin - Thank you! You should definitely have a look-see, it will be a great read.
Ruby - Thank you hun! Now, wouldn't a copy of that wonderful blog-book for charity look fabulous on the coffee table in your new house? I think it would! ;)

Utterly fabulous?!!! And in the same as the devilishly-elusive-but-oh-so-I-can't-get-enough OE? You pay me a compliment. I blush, and then I move on. I can't wait to get my hands on the book!!!!!! It will be the best tube-time reading ever! xx, c

Clarissa - Your place in the same sentence as OE is very well deserved. You fall into the "makes me look like a hack" category, but that really means that you provide inspiration to make me try and be a better blogger. I'm really excited about the book too. I don't have the pleasures of a tube journey, but it'll be good bathtime reading.

Deb - Thank you!
Matt - I think its a great idea and I'm proud to have contributed.
Roses - Thank you! Its a very cool thing to be able to say, even if its just one piece in one book. Its inspired me to make more of an effort and write more, thats for sure.

Next thing is to publish your own book! All your own. I'd buy that. For now I shall have to splash the cash and purchase this tome, and read your piece over and over again.
I might read the other stuff too.
Well done missy!

Timbo - Thank you very much! I've just got my copy today and so far I've only read my entry. Its crap of me really, I should know what it says. I wrote it after all.
