I went out for Halloween this year.
I'm not a great one for going out. I'm happy to go out to eat, or to hang out at a friend's house or even to a quiet pub. But Clubs? No. I'm not good with those. I don't like to be jostled, pushed, left standing when I want to sit down. I especially don't like being stuck with someone elses choice of music. Still, I went out. And until my 4" stilettos started hurting, I had fun.
I was meant to be a dominatrx, but I realised halfway to my friends' house I'd forgotten my whip. Oops.
I nearly had my throat slit by Satan, who was doing a kind of punky look for the night. Turns out it makes for a great picture.

Wow Beth, you look H-O-T. Love your eye make up. How did you do it, products? Looks awesome chica.

Ing - Yep!
Travis - Good advice and thank you! Fortunately as you can see if you look closely, I was in Satan's kitchen and I'm sure I could have made him some toast as a distraction from the trying to kill me.
Mia - Thank you for the compliment! There was a whole heap of products to get the look. Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer to start, covered with a layer of MAC Paint Pot in Panterly (a beigey-nude). The main shade covering from lid to brow bone was Collection 2000 Dazzle Me Eyeshadow in Illusion (bright pinky red) applied wet. On the inner half of each lid was Barry M Dazzle Dust in cherry (dark metallic red) blended with Boots No17 Solo Eyeshadow in Darkness (charcoal grey). To finish it off, GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner in Black (these are *the* best eye pencils and only a fiver each) with a bit of black liquid eyeliner (I used Boots No7, a couple of coats of Bourjois' new Liner Effect mascara and some false eyelashes.
I was really chuffed with the look. I didn't really have much time to practice it so it turned out quite well!

Did you go to TG?

Clarissa - Nah, nothing as exciting as all that. My and my friends (Satan, a Vampire Queen, the Mad Hatter, the guy from A Clockwork Orange, a walking Question Mark, Two-Face and a couple of fairies (in both costume and temperament) stayed in for a few drinks and then went out to a metal club for a bit.
