If you get the opportunity and La Clique are performing anywhere near you, go and see the show. Its a fabulous way to spend an evening. I don't think I'd been genuinely astounded until last night.
I saw the show with my friends that took me wine tasting at Vinopolis last weekend and there's a spooky thing with them. They're a couple, one of whom has been my best friend since we were about 11. The boyfriend, who is a complete darling and I love him to bits, also has a best friend called Beth and it was her birthday on the 8th of January. Mine's the 12th. We're from opposite ends of the country and Beth is a fairly unusual name. She's the only other one I know.
The trip was part of a Birthday/Christmas present for the other Beth and my ticket was meant for her brother, who was sick and couldn't make it. I'm really pleased they thought of me to have the spare ticket.
Although now, I'm wondering whether being able to put the leg of a bar stool down my throat is an acceptable thing to put on my "list of stuff to learn before I die". Probably not.
* This wasn't part of the show. This was a woman on the tube who seems to have drawn all her fashion inspiration from Fame, or possibly Flashdance. Its a bad look.
Sounds interesting. Maybe they'll take the show to Vegas one of these days and I can catch it there. One thing is for sure, it will never come to my town.

Travis - It was a really fun show but pretty risque. I think they travel with it, so Vegas may be a possibility!

I once had two evening outings planned for the same night: one with my neighbor Aimey, who wanted to introduce me to her friend Amy; another with my friend Amy visiting from Ohio. Things got quite confusing when text messages started to fly back and forth in our attempt to coordinate.

Mia - You should definitely go, it was an awesome show.
Ruby - Of all the things in that list I'd try, the leg warmers are right at the bottom!
Deb - It really was, I loved it!
Kenneth - No, in terms of appearance we're totally different. She's shorter and brunette, I'm tall and blonde. She was an absolute sweetheart though, so maybe we have that in common ;o)
Sid - Its strangely compelling. By the time she was naked we all went "No...she's not going to. Oh, she is!".
Clarissa - I have seen them and they're right on my list with "fingerless gloves" as an utterly pointless invention. Wear a jumper ffs. I don't think I'll ever really understand fashion.
