The Good
- I'm definitely feeling more like myself after the bad stuff over the last couple of months
- I walked to work in the snow today without falling over. Yes, its only 20 minutes away but you see I'm massively clumsy (see "The Ugly" below).
- Work is going well. Today, after letting me waste 45 minutes on something by not telling me he'd asked someone to re-work the details, my boss told me that HE would have to try harder. Love that.
- I can definitely make caramel-bourbon croissant bread pudding, which is awesomeness in a yummy, sweet, booozy, calorie laden bowl. Nom. Next to try is Pain Perdu with French Apple Sauce. I will become a domestic goddess....eventually.
The Bad
- I'm failing miserably at my diet although I did manage to walk back from Tesco yesterday (35 minutes and about a third of the journey was uphill) and so I can at least call that exercise.
- I seem to have a bit of a cold which is lingering on. I'm tired of being snotty.
- I totally wasted 45 minutes on something pointless at work today...see "The Good" above.
The Ugly
- I haven't cleaned my makeup brushes for too long. I couldn't find a single clean eyeshadow brush this morning. Nightmare.
- I've just managed to hack a chunk out of my leg with my razor. Triple blade ones make for a closer shave, but a higher chance of bleeding to death too.
- Its 9pm on Monday night. It seems that my evenings disappear way too fast these days. Its almost bedtime!
Frivolous isn't it?
The bad stuff really isn't that bad, sometimes I forget just how lucky I am. You get caught up in the tiny little irritations that in the grand scheme of things are just a load of bollocks.

Frivolous is all good, real trauma can wait until it absolutely has to.

Beth - I've missed you. Welcome back to normal...or something close enough to normal to make you feel better :)

@DHG - I'm aiming for a lot more frivolous. Trauma is way overrated.
@Dena - Thank you, I've missed me too!
